FAQ
Restaurant QR menu FAQ
How does a digital menu for restaurants work?
Every table has its own QR code. Guests scan it with their camera and see the menu with photos, allergens and prices, in the language they choose. With the QR Menu + Orders plan they can also order or call the server, and the order goes straight to the kitchen.
How does the order reach the kitchen?
On the kitchen display, on a tablet or computer, along with its notes, like "no onions". If you have several stations, each one gets its own screen and sees only what's relevant to it. As soon as the dish is ready, the server gets an alert.
Can servers take orders on their phones?
Yes. With the team app on their phone, they take the order at the table, send it to the kitchen and get an alert when it's ready. They can also scan the cart a guest built on their own phone.
Does it cover allergen information requirements?
It helps you inform guests consistently: each dish's allergens appear in every language, and guests can filter the menu. Accuracy remains the venue's responsibility, and EFET's (Hellenic Food Authority) requirements for on-site information still apply.
Does it replace a certified cash register (FIM) or connect to myDATA?
No. SERVIRIS organizes your menu, orders and service. It doesn't issue receipts or order slips and doesn't send data to myDATA. You handle those as always, with your certified cash register (FIM) or your e-invoicing provider.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the menu opens right away. Then they pick their language with one tap. Your team doesn't need to download anything either: the dashboard, team app, and kitchen and bar displays all open in the browser.
Does it replace the printed price list?
No. The law requires a price list at the entrance and in guests' hands before they order. SERVIRIS complements it: the same menu, always up to date, in 42 languages, with allergens and ordering right from the guest's seat.
How much does it cost? Is there a commission per order?
Pricing is per venue, not per table or area. The QR Menu plan costs €99 per year or €15 per month, and QR Menu + Orders costs €149 per year or €20 per month. Your first month is free and no credit card is required. There's no commission per order; you only pay the subscription.
